Both of Taipei Detention Center and Taiwan After-care Association take charge of these technical training classes. In the center, there are also manifold classes like Vegetable Foods, Flower Arranging, Printing, Gardening, Cooking, Telecommunication, Ironworking and Pottery. Furthermore, all the inmates in these classes would be provided with complete helps to pass the tests. Lists below are the classes that Taipei Detention Center has:

Horticulture:

Three terms for one year, each term for ten students. There will be professional teachers that invited from outside to instruct inmates in the way to plant and cultivate trees and flowers. The classroom is located at the Gardening Square.

Blue-dyeing:

Three terms for one year, each term for ten students. There will be professional teachers that invited from outside to train the inmates how to make dyeing.

Baked Food Technical Training Course:

Three terms for one year, each term for sixteen students. Employ teachers from universities and colleges and practicing masters to teach the inmates relevant knowledge about baking skills and production.

Chinese Meal Skills Training Course:

Three terms for one year, each term for fifteen students. Employ teachers from universities and colleges to teach the inmates the knowledge of meal skills and preparation.

Coffee Roasting Skills Training Course:

Three terms for one year, each term for ten students. Lecturers who have obtained international licenses and business experience are hired to teach the inmates about coffee brewing and roasting and other related knowledge.

Plumber/Electrician Vocational training:

One term a year, ten students per term, a project in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, hiring professional lecturers from the Ministry to teach the inmates related knowledge of Plumber and Electrician .
