Managing principles: Base on the rule of "Be indulgent to the inmates of their life and be severe toward their behavior with discipline.", and use "Management is service, service is management." the methods of management in ruling prisoners.

Perennial educations: In order to strengthen the professional knowledge of the staff of Taipei Detention Center, a group of selected teacher would be asked to inculcate all the members twice a month throughout the year with new intellects and concepts of guard and control; make them well acquainted with any new policy or the penal code in the present days. Moreover, all the fellow works are drilled in fireproof, absconding prevention, riot control and precaution against earthquake. Besides, our target is to get more safeguards to join the center for a better security.
